The Getty Owl Run/Walk includes a family festival that will begin during and after the race (8am-12noon). Activities for all ages. Vendor booths, food, crafts, giveaways, pet adoption, music, city oriented programs, and more.

When wee ones turn three, it’s all about exploring, imagination, and heaps of energy. They start questioning everything, wanting to figure out how the big world around them works. The tiny humans have got a newfound sense of humor and are all about expressing it. Yes, attention spans are short, but only because there’s so much excitement to take in!

Here at Ana Apple, I am most definitely a three-year-old. Nothing makes me happier than making a big colorful mess experimenting with new techniques to improve the line and immersing myself in as many business + art books as I can get my hands on. I’m constantly inspired by visual stimulants and absolutely love interacting with all of you! Sure, I might throw a little tantrum here and there, usually because I need a nap, but sometimes it’s ’cause I sewed a zipper on backwards or something. Just don’t worry; I’ve stopped wetting the bed.

So please join me in celebrating toddlerhood with a renewed sense of innocence as we start the year! Go ahead; tiptoe along a crack in the sidewalk for a block or make up a song on your commute to work tomorrow.

Not only will you be getting a head-start on shopping AND supporting fabulous local artists, but your $1 donation goes directly to COTS (Committee on the Shelterless). Over the past two years, the event has raised close to $2,500 for the organization and hopes it can donate even more this year! This is an event I’m stoked to be a part of

As my line grows, I’ve been emphasizing organic fabrics, recycled or second-hand materials and environmentally-responsible practices. I recently (and happily) transitioned from vegetarian to vegan, vowing to omit animal products from my diet and lifestyle. The renewed energy and compassion I’ve experienced has inspired me to move Ana Apple even further into the realm of eco-friendliness by creating vegan-themed designs and working to exclusively source materials from companies that share a similar commitment to celebrating a cruelty-free, eco-conscious, indie-loving life.

So, of course, joining forces with Never Felt Better was a no-brainer! It will be the exclusive Midtown store to get the most popular Ana Apple goodies, from Recycle onesies and Cali Love youth hoodies to organic catnip toys!

The new location of ‘Sacramento’s raddest 100% owned and operated vegan shop’ will be opening in mid-October at 1910 P Street.
